I am in New Zealand and I am considering purchasing a B2 torpedo which may be available soon.
We do not know what year the car is, there are things incorrect on it and many things missing.
From these photos, is it possible to say what year the car is, and which parts are incorrect. To me, the windscreen frame looks more like a-type, but I am not an expert. These cars are very rare here so I am hoping you can all help me!
Thank you
Bonjour
Hello,
I could be wrong, but the flat fenders and trapezoidal belt would indicate 1923, or even 1922.
After 1923, the fenders were rounded.
And earlier, the fan belt was flat.
The windshield doesn't look right to me: in those years, it was in 2 parts: a pivoting upper one, and a fixed lower one.
But then again, I'm no expert. I rely on all the research I did for mine.
The dynamo generator is missing,
And it would be better to find a Solex 26GHF carburetor in place of the existing.
Good luck with the rest. Nice car in any case.

Thank you! I think the windscreen is from an earlier A-type, but I am no expert on these cars. Tomorrow I hope to visit someone with a spare engine. I hope it has the dynamo, and possibly the correct carburetor.
